Small passerine bird, approximately 15 cm. In length. Has grayish-green back and wings, whitish throat, light gray-olive breast, and pale yellowish belly. Two wingbars visible. The eye-ring faint or absent. Upper mandible dark, lower mandible light. The song is a sneezy "fitz-bew" or "fitzi-bew". The call a repeated "whit".
